My second poetry collection, The Ogre & Other Fantastical Truths, is one of my works in progress, and I’m very excited about it!
I’ve always wanted to write in a journal and never had the discipline to do so. I have hoards of notebooks with sporadic, undated entries.
I dreamt of having a journal like Sebastian’s in Cruel Intentions, with the drawings and writing outside the lines and such; it was so cool to me!
I’ve come to realize my journal is my poetry. I process and heal through lines and stanzas.
Like In the Garden of Remorse, The Ogre, & Other Fantastical Truths contains poems about my life and painful events I’ve experienced. It also has some fiction poetry, because “It can’t rain all the time.” I have quite a ways to go with this collection, but I’m very eager to share it with you!
